京都 Kyoto Workshop:
Half day (approx 3 hour) one-to-one workshop.
In this beginner's workshop, you will learn the basics of
modern kintsugi using the 'fluid' technique to repair and create your choice of the following options:
A) A unique piece of wearable art - a kintsugi inspired pendant.
B) A small Japanese bowl.
This workshop is suitable for a maximum of two people.
For 1 person: £80
For 2 people: £150

All you need is a few hours, some good friends and a space large enough for your guests - a dining room table or similar is perfect.

- All materials will be supplied and you will be expertly guided throughout your session.
- For those who wish to try it, Japanese matcha tea will be available.
- You will be invited to taste a selection of homemade Japanese sweet treats -daifuku mochi 大福もち)
- Every workshop will be packed with fascinating facts about kintsugi and its unique place in Japan’s art, history and culture.
