Workshops

NEW!
We are thrilled to announce our new workshops at Kaizen in Shrewsbury town centre.

Workshops will focus on the fluid kintsugi technique and each participant will have the opportunity to repair a stunning Japanese bowl (supplied by our host and included in the price).

Join us for a few hours and immerse yourself in Japanese culture and art.

In addition to learning the ancient art of kintsugi, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn how to prepare matcha tea the traditional Japanese way
  • Try on antique kimonos and geta sandals
  • Sample fresh, homemade daifuku - mochi sweet treats.
  • Discover more about Japan's rich history and culture.

Our  half day workshops feature an introduction to kintsugi where each participant is guided through the

During the course there is time for Japanese matcha tea, served in the traditional way and homemade
